Intro

Hi! So this blog is a portfolio for my englcom class. This is a requirement to be able to pass this subject. Part of our class is writing essays and our topic is all about high school love life. Different kinds of essays was used to explain our topic.Why does it seem unforgettable to us?

Definition Essay

High School love life is one of the few things that are treasured through our life. We’ll have the chance to meet friends but there will be a special someone who will inspire us. Love will be the bridge that will connect two strangers. There are so many definitions of love but you can only define it when you experience it. There are 2 kinds of love that are really famous—the puppy love and the first love. The puppy love is having a crush at a young age while first love is when you feel love for that person for the first time. Teenagers tend to fall in love easily not knowing how it will affect them. Having crushes really keep people inspired. When you see him/her your day will be complete. Infatuation is the common feeling teenagers feel. They think it’s love but it’s not. It’s the usual misconception that leads teenagers to believe and to hold on to something that can only last for so long.

Argumentative Essay

Ex-couples after breaking up are strangers. It takes a long time for the ex-couple to become friends again but not all ex-couples regain their friendship. Many can’t swallow their pride just to become friends with the ex-relationship. In relationship, friendship is being sacrificed into a relationship with no assurance.

            As generations pass by, rules about love are being raised. There are so many rules about love but true love doesn’t have any rule. The three-month rule is the most famous one. It started in movies. Three-month rule is about not having any intimate relationship after breaking up. It shows respect to your ex and valuing what you had as couples.

            Ex-couples may have hard feelings after break-up but still they need to respect each other. According to many couples, anyone who breaks up need to follow the three-month rule. The ex may use the weakness of the another to move on. Still, they should give respect and space  for the ex. It’s the both of them who are having hard time to move on. S/he may see that one of them are not affected in what happened it does not show hat one of them was hurt. He/She is just trying to do her/his best to move on as it will affect his/her life.

            They still want attention from one another maybe the reason why he/she doesn’t want to follow the three-month rule. There are many rules why he/she want attention from the another. He/She may cannot be able to move on because she/he still love one another but this shouldn’t let to an end. It should be there’s something wrong that resulted to a break-up. They should have a reason why they broke up. It maybe simple for us but still it should be kept private to minimize the conflict. Break-up maybe the answer they got but it’s not they want.

            Many couple think that if they break-up their love for one another will grow. There are many ways to let the love grow but not breaking up. If their feelings are true there’s no need for love to grow as the time goes by it will naturally grow and fond. Also, the problem maybe is the communication. All problems can be done in a good talk. There maybe something wrong that’s why he/she want to call it off. Breaking up is not the answer.

Reflective Essay

My goals for ENGLCOM class was met. It really helped me in my grammar and writing. In my grammar, it really improved a lot especially in writing essays. Writing essays is not easy as what you think. You really need to be in the perfect timing to be able to express your ideas and thoughts. When my professor asked us to write essays it’s not really easy especially when you’re not in the mood but still you force your self to write because there’s a deadline for it. Learnings in this class will really help me to take afar.
